Booking
We shall make every effort to ensure that you know what we can provide and that what we can provide is within your expectations. You shall make every effort to ensure that we know what you expect and that what you expect can be provided by us.
By sending us a booking request you declare that you have read, do understand and accept our terms and conditions; that you request a booking; and that after we have accepted your request at our descretion, you and we have a contract and therefore we shall make Ferragudo Casa available to you and you will pay related fees.
Payments
Upon our acceptance of your booking request we shall invoice you detailling all necessary payment information.
A deposit of 50% of the rental fee needs to be in our account within 3 working days of the invoice date.
If you book within two months of the start of your stay or if you claim an early booking discount, then the balance of the rental fee needs to be in our account within 3 working days of the invoice date. Else, the balance of the rental fee needs to be in our account two months before the start of your stay.
The surcharge for if you choose to pay on-line (using
your Credit/Debit card or paying from your PayPal account) is 3.5%.
Late payments will incur a penalty of 7% over the ECB marginal rate and, in addition, a fixed charge of EUR 40.- under EUR 1k debt, EUR 70 for debts between EUR 1k and EUR 10k and EUR 100 for debts > EUR 10k.
Security Deposit
At the start of your stay, you will have the opportunity to inspect the house and you are required to pay a Security Deposit of EUR 250.- or GBP 200.-. At the end of your stay, we will inspect the house and you and we shall balance the security deposit against the possible cost for loss or damage to the property.
Loss or Damage to the Property
You accept liability for any possible loss or damage to the property caused by your neglience and you will pay us the full repair/replacement costs necessary to rectify damage or defect caused, unless the defect or damage is wear and tear, corrosion, loss of value because of use or age or following a repair or mechanical or electrical breakdown. The repair/replacement costs are not limited to the amount of the security deposit and you are therefore required to have an insurance covering your liability in respect of loss or damage to our property.
Personal Risks
You agree that you will not hold us liable for any possible personal medical, hospital, accident costs or loss in anyway of any personal belongings. We do not refund any payments you made. We require that you take out appropriate insurance to cover the costs for at least these kinds of risks.
Changes
If requested by you and only at our discretion we may transfer your booking to an alternative.

Cancellation
If you cancel your booking you will loose any payments you made to us.
In the unlikely event of us cancelling your booking we will refund 100% of any rental fee paid by you. We shall not in any case be liable for any refunding of any other expenses like travel, accommodation and payment costs.
Complaints
If you have any complaints then you must inform us immediately and unless absolutely impossible, we will deal with problems then and there.
If an issue persist, submit your complaint to us in writing. We will instigate an investigation quickly and take appropriate action if deemed necessary.
Smoking
Smoking is stricktly forbidden. This ban affects to the total premises, so it applies anywhere inside as wel as outside the house (including but not limited to balconies, patio's, gardens, roofterace, under the fume extractor). In other words smoking is only allowed once you have reached public grounds. Violating this condition means that you cancell your booking with immediate effect.
Pets
Not allowed.
General
We do not accept claims and shall not be liable at any time for claims
or expenses caused by circumstances beyond our control including
sickness, accident, travel delays, weather, strikes, war or civil
unrest.
You shall not bring any illegality.
We reserve the right to alter any of our publications without prior notice.
